Greg Potter accomplished multiple feats he thought impossible in March of 2021. According to the angler, he became just the third known person in New Zealand to land a marlin from a kayak. And accomplished a record-setting first in New Zealand to do so and officially weigh and record the catch.
After a nearly three-hour fight with a striped marlin, Potter pulled the fish onto his kayak. The marlin weighed 207 pounds. Watch Potter’s epic in this video posted to his YouTube channel GP Fishing Adventures.
