If you’re running a bass fishing tournament series it makes sense to plant your headquarters in a place with one of the best fisheries in the country. According to Chad Hoover, that’s a big reason why he has decided to bring the Kayak Bass Fishing (KBF) headquarters to Ditto Landing In Huntsville, Alabama.
Kayak Bass Fishing Finds Its New Home In Alabama
The Tennessee River flows right through Huntsville on its way to the Mississippi River. There are no shortage of bass spots around the Alabama town, including the waters of the marina at Ditto Landing itself.
Hoover recently made the announcement at a local press conference alongside Huntsville mayor, Tommy Battle.

In this report from WHNT News 19, Hoover shared his thoughts on bringing the KBF headquarters to Alabama.
“The creeks and rivers in North Alabama are some of the best in the world. It’s Narnia for bass fishing,” Hoover shares with reporters. “You can draw a 15-mile circle around where you live and have the most world-class fishing around.”
Kayak Bass Fishing was founded by Hoover in 2009. The KBF hosts open and pro events within each stop on the series, as well as high school and collegiate levels events. KBF will host its national championship October 19-21, on Kentucky Lake in Tennessee.
