Nothing says the holiday season like a new reel. The new Coastal TWS baitcaster from Daiwa is designed with corrosion resistant ball bearings and their TWS system to keep saltwater and the elements out of your reel’s vital inner workins, while the 7.3:1 gear ration lets you turn up the speed for working bigger soft plastics or topwater plugs.

The powerful drag system, rated at 15.4lbs of max drag, lets you put on the muscle when a fish refuses to cooperate. A 200 size A7075 aircraft grade aluminum spool offers anglers 35% line capacity than the standard 100 size, which lets you rest easy knowing you won’t get spooled by the fish of a lifetime. The new T-Wing aperture (where the line is threaded out from the reel) allows for a larger space and reduced angles, for less friction on your line, so your casts are smoother and go farther.

The 100mm Swept Handle and custom EVA handle knobs add to your grip and cranking power, as well as your comfort while holding this beauty of a baitcaster. Daiwa’s popular MagForce Cast Control lets you dial in the exact amount of braking power that you need to nail the perfect cast every time.
