Adding dual fish finder displays, lights, motors and batteries to my kayak seemed like a great idea until I ended up with a spaghetti bowl of wires in my hull. Then, chasing demons as connections and crimps corrode drives me crazy. To the rescue, Connect-Ease released the Yak-Ease Power Pak Pro with a complete kayak electrical package.
First Look: Connect-Ease Yak-Ease Power Pak Pro
Using heavy gauge wire, military-grade crimps and Connect-Ease quick-release connectors takes the confusion out of rigging my kayak.
Starting with a large lithium battery in a waterproof Pelican case including waterproof switches and Connect-Ease Plug-and-Play connectors that easily and securely snap together to install the battery in seconds. Then, over-sized wires and heat-shrink connectors ensure electric current passes cleanly to my electronics and lights. This provides the clearest, interference-free images on my fish finder displays.
The Yak-Ease Power Pak includes five customizable outlets to run electronics, navigation lights and fishing lights with plenty of power. The all-inclusive system is so clean and easy it won Best Non-Motorized Boat Accessory at the 2024 ICAST tradeshow.
