Boonedox pro angler Jeff Little was showing off the company’s latest additions focused on transporting gear and kayaks easily and safely.
The Best New Boonedox Gear for 2025
The modular racks and boxes allow me to build a system best suited for my needs. Little had his pickup truck rigged with a overland tent on the roof, solid metal gear boxes on the sides of the truck bed with a solid metal rod tube and a 14-foot kayak secured in the truck bed.
My favorite piece of the puzzle is the new slide-in kayak rack. Using castor wheels at the end of the rack bars, Little simply lifted the bow of his kayak onto the extended rack and then slid the boat onto the rack. “I don’t have to use a trailer to carry a big kayak,” he points out.
To make it all happen, Little demonstrated how the Boonedox components can be modified and adapted to fit any truck, kayak and roof-top tent. “I’ve used the system to camp in the wilderness and in Walmart parking lots,” Little says.
