Texas Power Paddle, the leader in all-electric kayak propulsion systems, announces the release of its Generation 3 PRO weedless motor and control system for dedicated Hobie kayak owners and watercraft enthusiasts. The Generation 3 system provides kayak anglers and aficionados with up to 30% more power, thrust, and battery capacity all in the same lightweight and stealthy package.
The new ductless 18.5 Volt brushless motor and prop design cuts through weeds with ease and gives anglers a new tool to get into deeper and shallower backwaters. Multiple models are available to match users’ needs starting at $1,399 with everything included + battery.
Texas Power Paddle continues to march forward on its mission to electrify the existing Hobie kayak fleet of over 1M kayaks worldwide and expand to other manufacturers. The patented and unique retractable motor allows users the option to peddle, paddle, or power-up to get the best of performance while still maintaining the hassle free experience and essence of kayaking. Although originally designed for Hobie kayaks, the system is also compatible with all kayaks with a steerable rudder as the drop-in kits instantly turn kayaks into an electric powered platform allowing users to extend their range, go further, and explore new waters.
“We listened to our loyal customer base and added the weed cutting power, thrust, and improved battery capacity they wanted all while keeping our compact auto deploy and retract features that make our system unique,”
