Sea Eagle owner and designer Cecil Hoge once told me he loves working with inflatable watercraft because the platform offers unlimited options for creativity and versatility. That philosophy is on display with Sea Eagle’s latest creation the FishSUP 1210.
First Look: Sea Eagle FishSUP 1210
The latest edition to the utilitarian FishSUP line is the biggest, widest and most versatile inflatable paddleboard on the water. At 12 feet 10 inches long and 39 inches wide, the FishSUP platform has the capacity to accommodate unlimited motor and battery options including an electric outboard and an electric trolling motor. Still, the base model with just the paddleboard is designed to propel with a SUP paddle.
For anglers looking to take fishing to the next level, the FishSUP is available in a configuration that includes an electric outboard, battery, swivel seat, two inflatable pontoons, standup casting bar, four rod holders and bow plate for a trolling motor.
The base model costs less than $1,000 and the price of the top-of-the-line pro model with motor doesn’t exceed $2,500. That’s less expensive than many pedal kayaks with the capability to pack into a carry case and transport in a car trunk.
Sea Eagle set out to design a versatile inflatable paddleboard and the FishSUP 1210, whether configured as a paddleboard or outfitted with two motors and swivel seat, meets the needs of any angler.
