Episode 9 of Robert Field’s Field Trip Down Under series has him kayak fishing in New Zealand for deep sea monsters.
They daisy chain the kayaks to the mothership and head far offshore to a deep underwater mountain to see what they can catch in the depths of the ocean.
Targeting barracuda and yellowtail kingfish, Robert Field hooks into some beasts. Watch as he wrestles these monster fish that have him almost losing his rod at one point, and breaking it at another.
Not to mention a barracuda that fights against two anglers after biting both of their lures.
