The B.A.S.S. Bassmaster Kayak Series has completed a sweeping shift for the 2025 tournament series. On December 9, B.A.S.S. announced Native Watercraft has taken up the role of presenting sponsor for the 2025 Bassmaster Kayak Series. The news follows just days after the kayak series shared that Newport would be the title sponsor of the 2025 events—roles previously held by Yamaha and Tourney X in 2024.
Native Watercraft announced as 2025 Bassmaster Kayak Series presenting sponsor
For kayak anglers the sponsor shift signals an alignment with brands synonymous with the sport. Native Watercraft is a North Carolina-based kayak manufacturer with decades of boat-building and paddling history on their team and designs including the TitanX and Slayer series.
“We are incredibly excited to be partnered with Bassmaster this year,” Native Watercraft and BIG Adventures chief operating officer Tyler Brown shared in a statement. “Bassmaster embodies the pinnacle of excellence in bass fishing. This legacy aligns perfectly with the qualities we seek in a partner, making this collaboration a natural choice.

Newport billed as 2025 Bassmaster title sponsor
Just days prior, electric motor brand Newport, similarly was announced as the title sponsor for the event. Kayak anglers know the brand for their aftermarket motor and battery solutions such as the NK180PRO electric outboard and their 36-volt lithium battery pack.
