When you buy an new Hero paddle, Accent will donate $20 to Heroes On The Water. That’s not a percentage point, you don’t need to fill out a form or send in a mail in rebate–just buy a paddle and Accent Paddles will help out our veterans in need of a little kayak fishing therapy.

I love helping out Heroes On The Water (read more about that here) and there’s nothing simpler than buying good gear and helping out at the same time. For those that need a little more convicing, let’s talk about the paddle. Made with a fiberglass shaft that features an in-laid tape measure to quickly measure your catch, the paddle feels light in the hands. The high angle paddle blade also gives you more power and control than a low angle paddle, perfect for big, heavy sit-on-top kayaks.

Accent Paddles’ Slider technology lets you adjust the paddle shaft length depending on your needs. That means when you’re fishing from a seated position you can shorten the paddle, but when you need to stand up and start sight fishing you can lengthen the paddle and keep on moving. The ability to quickly and easily adjust your ferrule angle with Accent’s Kingpin Connection system also gives you an edge. Whether you need a little or a lot, the 15 degree offset increments let you dial in your fit and paddle more efficiently.

Designed with wide fishing kayaks in mind, the paddle is available in 240-260cm measurements, with a model at every 5cm increment. The fiberglass reinforced paddle blades are practically indestructable for push-poling and pushing off structure. And the dihedral design cuts through the water without a flutter producing more power with a smoother stroke.
