The NuCanoe BlackPak will let you rig up your Frontier or Pursuit more efficiently than ever.

We were big fans of the YakAttack BlackPak when it was first released, so it’s no surprise to us that the NuCanoe decided to partner with YakAttack to create their own version of the crate system. Designed to perfectly fit with your NuCanoe Pursuit or Frontier, the NuCanoe BlackPak straps in and is secured using the rail system on the back of the boats. With the crate secured so perfectly, anglers won’t have to worry about rowdy surf launches popping the crate out of their tankwell and getting lost in the drink (which I’ve seen happen).

The NuCanoe BlackPak lets you store tackle boxes and rods with ease.

Drain holes make sure water won’t float your tackle trays stored inside the crate, usually six, depending on the size of the tray. Holes along the top rails of the BlackPak accept MightyBolt accessories and E-slots throughout the crate accept even more gear. The NuCanoe BlackPak comes with three rod holders, but you can mount rod holders in up to 50 different positions, in case you wan’t to get them dialed in just right.

Carry handles make the BlackPak easy to get to and from the water and sturdy bungees keep the included lid locked down until you need to access gear. The NuCanoe version of the crate system is also slightly more compact than the standard BlackPak, to better fit into the stern tankwell of NuCanoe’s boats. The new version also features hinges on the lid, which means you won’t accidentally flip open the crate too much and lose your lid into the drink.

If you’ve been looking for a way to store more gear but also keep it organized, the NuCanoe BlackPak is a great solution for tackle, rods, cameras and safety flags.
