Kayakjak is a highly respected and very experienced angler and guide with more than five decades of angling experience. He is considered “the godfather” of kayak fishing in the Midwest. He has fished from a kayak the last 28 years in Nebraska and beyond on ponds, lakes, rivers, and ocean. His passion for the sport is shown by his enthusiasm to help others engage in the sport of kayak fishing.

I am a kayak catfishing and bass angler located in the Clarksville, TN area. I primarily fish Kentucky Lake and the surrounding area, but also travel for tournaments. My YouTube channel, The Tennessee Kayak Angler, focuses on solutions to common setup, gear, and process challenges kayak anglers face as well as various fishing adventures and tournaments. I am married with two boys at home and recently retired from the US Army after 20 years. When I am not spending time with them, I am on the water.
