A new chapter for the Jackson Kayak family today as Jameson Redding announces that he will be leaving his role as Brand Manager for the company’s extensive fishing line of kayaks. As his father moves into retirement, he is leaving to take over stewardship of his family’s large commercial fencing company. Although, he will still remain a part of the Jackson Fishing Team and will continue to make his television show “Road Trip Angler.”

“Jackson Kayak has been my home for over a decade and I have learned so much during my time here. Stepping down from this position is one of the hardest decisions I have made in my career, but I know that I am leaving with an amazing team in place and a bright future.” – Jameson Redding

Jameson will not be immediately replaced and will continue to consult on the future of the Jackson Fishing line. During his tenure, several innovative projects have begun, and a long-term plan was laid out to safeguard the future of JK Fishing.

Jackson Kayak’s mission statement continues to be: “To pursue Joy through Kayaking.”

“We wish Jameson all the best and have nothing but respect as he steps away from the Brand Manager position and on to new adventures. He will be missed, but his legacy will be felt for many years to come. We have always felt that family comes first, and Jameson embodies that.” – Emily Jackson
