They say you shouldn’t ask Santa for too much, but with the Bending Branches Optimus system, you can have it all and not land on the naughty list. The Optimus system lets you turn your favorite Angler paddle into a stakeout pole/8ft push pole, 12ft push pole, canoe paddle or standup paddleboard paddle.

Instead of carrying all different types of paddles, now you can safe space and time on the water by carrying components instead. The shaft is made from the strongest version of Bending Branches’ fiberglass, so that it will stand up to years of being leaned on as a push pole.

The pointed tip of the stakeout pole is made from the hardest and most durable material they could find, their very own Rockguard tip protection, which will let you jam the stakeout pole into any bottom and not have to worry about damaging it. Instead of the standard push pole duck grip, Bending Branches designed the Optimus with a T grip, which is still great for pushing off, but is much more comfortable for paddle and control.

All configurations of the Optimus systems are sold as seperate options, $60 for the standup/canoe option, $120 for the 8ft push pole and $160 for the 12ft push pole. For more information on Bending Branches, or their new Optimus paddle system, check out their website, BendingBranches.com.
