The waterproof gloves from Hanz USA won’t leak and won’t let the cold in.

If my hands are cold, I’m useless. Not only does it make fishing nearly impossible, but it also just makes me want to crawl inside my kayak’s hatch and light a fire…or just head back to the truck. I used to have a system of bringing alone multiple pairs of fingerless knit gloves, putting on a new pair every time I caught a fish and they got wet. Not only was this inefficient, but it’s also a pain, because your hands are constantly getting wet and cold, then not so cold, and then cold and wet again.

I tossed that system into the past once I tried the Waterproof Gloves from Hanz USA, because these things are a winter angler’s dream. These gloves are 100% waterproof and warm and toasty enough to keep your digits from feeling the cold, no matter how icy the weather gets. The gloves are so resistant to cold and water that when I dunked my hands all the way up to my wrists, I couldn’t tell they were underwater if I closed my eyes.

The waterproof gloves from Hanz feature grippy palms to hold on to your gear.

Since the gloves are designed to be stretchable and built with a seamless, three-layer construction, they’re durable and comfortable enough to fish and paddle in all day long, without any restriction in movement. The “breathable MVT membrane” design kept my hands from feeling clammy and hot, even while paddling. The full length glove that extends past the wrist was great for when I was releasing fish and forgot to watch where the water was along my hands, which kept me from filling the leak-proof glove from filling with water.

Hanz USA’s TapKnit technology is touchscreen compatible, so you can still use your electronics or smartphone to find fish or text your buddies who are sitting on their couch in their warm house…slacking off. The “abrasion-resistant grip dots” that cover the palms and fingers let you keep a tight hold on your expensive gear, even if things get icy and slippery, and they feel like they can take a beating over repeated winter seasons.

While wearing the Hanz waterproof gloves I couldn't tell my hands were underwater.
