The Yeti Coolers Rambler Series will pay for itself very quickly.

I’ve heard some anglers say that they wouldn’t pay so much money for a cup, or that they don’t get the point of a cup that keeps drinks cold all day long, because shouldn’t you drink it by then? Here’s why you want your drinks to have their own personal refrigerator surrounding them, or their own personal toaster for hot drinks: you’re usually too busy fishing to drink you drink before it loses the right temperature.

There have been countless times that I’ve made myself or have bought an iced coffee on the way to fishing and by the time I go to drink it, the ice is all melted and it tastes like crap. Or, even worse, I’ve bought or brought hot coffee and by the time I drink it it’s as cold as the water I’m fishing in. I love iced coffee, but cold hot coffee is gross. Don’t question my logic.

The Yeti Rambler Tumbler keeps drinks cold or hot all day long.

That’s why, earlier this season, I bought myself a 20oz. Rambler Tumbler, $29.99, (also available in a 30oz., for $39.99) from Yeti Coolers and have never looked back. Now, even if I leave my iced coffee in my hot truck on a summer day, when I come back from fishing, six hours later, my coffee is still there ready to drink. Say what you want about the price, but I’m convinced the Tumbler has paid for itself by saving me from dumping out my coffee every time I go fishing. And the entire Rambler series is double walled, which means that they won’t sweat and ruin your furniture. Every day I set my coffee on my great grandfather’s 1920’s writing desk, I know I don’t have to worry about refinishing it. Again.

When it comes to hanging out with friends and drinking a cold beer, I agree that it shouldn’t take hours to drink it. But how often have you been camping or cleaning gear while you enjoy that cold one? And how many times have you forgotten about your beer for an hour, only to come back to it and it’s warm? Exactly, happens to me too.

The Yeti Rambler Colster is designed to keep bottles or can as cold as scientifically possible.

Enter the Rambler Colster, $29.99 designed for both bottles and cans. Another reason these heavy-duty stainless steel “hand-protectors” are so great is how durable they are. I’ve dropped my Tumbler many many times, and I’ve seen friends drop their Colsters and neither have ever looked anything but brand new.

The new Rambler 10oz Lowball $24.99, (shown at top of page) is the ultimate campfire cup around. Forget your hipster enaml mugs with cheeky graphics, if you need something that isn’t going to shatter when rolling around in your truck bed, as my camping gear does all day, every day, the Lowball is your answer.

The same double-walled and “No Sweat” design will keep your bourbon or whiskey from being too diluted, a very serious problem for us purists, while sitting by the fire. Without a lid, the Lowball is perfect for when you’re deep chair sitting, not planning on getting up anytime soon and don’t need to be on the go. The mug is designed to keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold far longer than you’d expect.

Many of you won’t be convinced on these bad boys, and that’s plenty fine with me. There’s such a demand on the Rambler Series that the supply is getting low on the Yeti Coolers website. Which means there’s a better chance I can get my hands on another one.
